Pakucho Certified Organic Flamme Worsted Cotton Yarn
Botanically Dip Dyed Color: Orchid Spice (Soft Orchid Pink with Purple undertones)

The average needle used is #8 - #10 (4.5 - 3.5 sts) = 1").
This yarn knits up slightly chunky on a #10, BUT #8- 9 is a more normal worsted gauge. The yarn is made up of 2 roving strands twisted together to form a thick and thin alternating texture. Organic Cotton yarn can sometimes shrink between 10-15% in length. If you are unsure, I would launder a sample first when doing a project. The shrinkage only occurs when you machine dry it. If you want the color to stay basically the same, with no shrinkage, either machine wash or hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
This is a beautiful, soft, thick & thin flamme rovings twisted together. This yarn like most organic cotton does not have a chemical finishing like conventional cotton so it not smooth and polished, but natural and rustic.
