Marshmallow Kusikuy Organic Cotton Hand Spun Chunky Yarn.....This item is certified organic cotton yarn and fair trade. This is a naturally grown color and the only one that is not veggie dyed (It is best described as natural). This color is Vegan as well. Each hank is approximately 5 oz. and is 50 m. or 55 yards average. It is hand spun so the texture is irregular, rustic and very soft. The average needle used is #13 and it works up at 2 sts.=1" and 3 rows=1" (stockinette). This is an average since the yarn can vary from color to color and sometimes hank to hank within the same color....It also can have color variations from ball to ball. This is the nature of hand spun veggie dyed organic cotton yarn. The irregularities are part of the beauty of this very unique eco-yarn. Try working this yarn on a #17 for a gorgeous warm and soft scarf. I will have a pattern up shortly.
When deciding to use different colors in one project you may need to test the two colors for any kind of color bleed. For example Creme and Indigo might have an issue while Sky Blue and Indigo wouldn't. I f you have any questions about this check out the care instruction page or e-mail us.
