The Pakucho Organic Cotton Yarn inspired us to create the first "Green" 100% Certified Organic Cotton Yarn covered "Mouse" Cat Toy....Not including the little brass bell of course. It is nice to have the ability to knit your cat an organic cotton yarn pet toy stuffed with the finest certified organic dried catnip & cotton rag vellum paper strips for stuffing.
If you choose to leave the bell off and stuff the mouse with the catnip only then this will be a completely 100% Certified Organic Cotton Yarn & Catnip Toy.....Very cool!
The design is pretty simple and a snap to make. This specific design comes with a pattern for the mouse pictured. There will be more options very soon. You can choose not to use the bell, to keep it quiet, BUT cats seem to love the jingling.
Note: This pattern's hardest feature is the increasing at the base of the tail, BUT we made it as easy as possible so that most knitters can do it.

This mouse can be restuffed with catnip and when the cat has used it up you can remove the bell (use it for something else) and throw the toy away without worrying about a negative environmental impact.
